Tribute in Light After the tragic loss of lives during the 9/11 attack, a tribute was made to honor the victims. The Tribute in Light Memorial was made after six months since the attack as a collaborative public art piece to commemorate the lives lost. The two beams can be seen near Ground Zero and reach up to 4 miles high, making the piece symbolic of the twin towers. These xenon light beams can only be seen lit during 9/11 and are done annually to honor the fallen victims. Even though there were Covid restrictions last year, the Tribute in Light lit up as usual.
