Everyone has at least something they can tie back to their childhood, something that takes them back to that time. Tribute in Light After the tragic loss of lives during the 9/11 attack, a tribute was made to honor the victims. The Tribute in Light Memorial was made after six months since the attack as a collaborative public art piece to commemorate the lives lost. The two beams can be seen near Ground Zero and reach up to 4 miles high, making the piece symbolic of the twin towers. These xenon light beams can only be seen lit during 9/11 and are done annually to honor the fallen victims. Even though there were Covid restrictions last year, the Tribute in Light lit up as usual.
