Good Ol’ Saint Nick, everybody at the very least is familiar with the name. It means December, snow, presents, and Christmas! Now what happens to kids when they land on the naughty list? They get coal as a punishment right?

With the holidays now here I have decided to talk about Christmas activities in Chicago and Dekalb considering its just around the corner. Although Dekalb is a small town it does have some amazing and fun activities to do for example, meet Santa's helper in the dekalb public library on December 18th. Or perhaps meet Santa and watch the Christmas light through out Lincoln highway starting at 6 pm on December 18th. Santa will also be riding around with the route he will stop at the Egyptian movie theater for pictures this event will include hot chocolate for anyone who comes by. Santas hours and dates are from 11am- 1pm all through out until December 18th. With that being said if your feeling to go out of town to celebrate Christmas you can go to Millennium park 201 E Randolph st in Chicago Illinois there is 3 main activities you can participate there for example, looking at the huge Christmas tree, going ice skating with a loved one or friends last but not least looking at the amazing bean. If you are in the mood for a photoshoot I recommend going to the Amaze light festival 9850 Balmoral avenue Rosemont Illinois. There is a small fee for individual, for kids 2-12 its 13$ for teens 13-18 its 18$ and 18 and up its 23$ If you are interested on any of these activities you could visit these websites for more details. Ice skating Amaze light festival Christmas treeWhen you think of December, what excites you the most? What is December known for? That's right, Christmas, snow, Santa and his presents. Has it ever occurred to you where Santa Claus originated from? Where did this mysterious man with a sleigh and reindeer even come from? Lunch is a important thing in a students day because its a time where their brains get to rest and an opportunity to socialize with friends while eating, we want our students to have a good lunch time with appealing food so for the last week experience and all the reviews were the same, majority of the students requested better drink options and just more appealing looking food. We spoke to the manager of the cafeteria staff and not only was our project looked badly but she gave us very negative vibes on the other hand the rest of the cafeteria staff was incredibly kind and helped us with all our questions. Our biggest concern was who was our school lunch supplier and luckily Luna the lunch server provided us with that answer being "Aramark. We are in a mission to contact them but we can tell you guys that they will be an upcoming story on their response so make sure to stick around in our blog.
